Oak Hill Church of Christ preaching minister, Randy Sterling, delivers a message on the value of realizing just how much God loves and cares for us.

Discovering the truth of God's love may be a fearful prospect at the beginning. Like someone wading into the water close to shore who is led against his will by a current, we might be fearful to discover the hidden things beneath, preferring to stay on a firm footing, above the tide.

Discovering God's love and care for us often comes together with trial, an unexpected challenge. God, however, inspires His children to discover His love purposefully.

Instead of viewing our opportunities to become close to God and grow our faith as unwilling captives being led along against our will, God calls on His children to bravely take on what lies ahead.

When we learn to trust God and abide in Him, we will find that God's love and concern for us is much more full and deep than we thought.
