Russia Follows Barrage on Kyiv With More Drone, Missile Attacks

On Monday, Russia initiated two waves of missile and drone attacks across Ukraine, intensifying its efforts to weaken the nation’s air defenses and disrupt its preparations for a potential offensive, as indicated by Kyiv.

The most recent barrage occurred the day after Russia carried out its largest assault using drones supplied by Iran since the war’s inception, the Wall Street Journal reported.

General Valeriy Zaluzhniy, the commander in chief of Ukraine’s armed forces, reported that 11 cruise and ballistic missiles were successfully intercepted over the Kyiv region on Monday.
