Russian Defence Minister takes part in meeting of Public Council under Ministry of Defence

◽️The Russian Minister of Defence General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, attended a meeting of the Public Council under the Russian Ministry of Defence at the National Defence Management Center today in Moscow.

◽️In the opening remarks, Sergei Shoigu briefed the members of the Public Council on the results of the Russian Ministry of Defence's activities in a number of areas this year.

◽️The Defence Minister noted that the military department continues to pay great attention to issues of interaction between the army and society.

💬‘We have an incredible number of very, very supportive, real citizens of our country. You know, I am absolutely certain that we have all the capabilities. We have wonderful people who are fulfilling these tasks. I would like to talk about everyone, and I want to thank them all - let us remember everyone and say thank you to everyone who is doing their best today,’ the head of the Russian Defence Ministry said during the meeting.

◽️Sergei Shoigu thanked the members of the Public Council for their active participation in the life of the Russian Armed Forces and their work in patriotic education of youth. He also expressed gratitude for the support of families of servicemen and readiness for further cooperation in this sphere.

💬‘You travel a lot, meet a lot, do a lot. You help and support not only participants of the special military operation, but also their relatives and close ones, you take part in the organisation of various events, our events that are held, including teleconferences - this is a big work to maintain morale,’ Sergei Shoigu said in his address to the Public Council.
