Did Ryan Day handle the Amir Riep and Jahsen Wint situation correctly?
9
In 2020 former Buckeyes Amir Riep and Jahsen Wint were charged with rape and kidnapping by the Franklin County Sheriff in Columbus, Ohio. Both players were immediately removed from the Ohio State football program by head coach Ryan Day. This past January both men were acquitted of all charges. Both men are now back in college football again but with different programs. Did Ryan Day handle this situation properly? Should the court of public opinion be considered in football decisions or only the court of law? Lets have a deep discussion.
*NOTE - Since this recording was made, Wint has announced a commitment to Marshall University.
