Crappie fishing structure for post spawn crappie using jigs. We are in mid May and searching for crappie to catch. I locate standing timber using my old elite ti7 Lowrance to side scan for tree under the water surface. I can see a few fish on side scan so I stop and then fish the structure. I am vertical jigging in 13-25 feet of water with most of the fish being in the 15-18 foot range. I am using 1/8 oz black and truss or purple and truss jigs.

Boat is my custom made 20ft all aluminum jet boat. Motor is a 150hp yamaha outboard with a jet lower unit. Boat is named "Jet With It"
