Under reliable air defence protection - Buk-M2 surface-to-air missile system

In the course of combat duty, the air defence units of the Central Military District detect, escort and destroy the enemy aircraft both day- and nighttime. The servicemen provide reliable air cover of the Russian Armed Forces positions and the most important administrative and industrial facilities in new regions.

🔎 While on active duty, Buk-M2 surface-to-air missile system of the Central Military District detected and escorted an aerial target that was approaching guarded objects along a ballistic trajectory. The crew of the combat vehicle launched two surface-to-air guided missiles and hit the enemy aerial weapon at a considerable distance.

💥In total, SAM crew destroyed more than 40 aerial and aerodynamic targets such as Bayraktar drones and HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems. #mod_russia_en
