On December 6th, 2021, the tranquility of the Zambezi River would be shattered for a group of young adventurers. Among them was a vibrant and kind-hearted eighteen-year-old, Amelie Osburn-Smith, who hailed from Andover, Hampshire, U.K. This was her gap year vacation, a reward for completing her high school courses and a chance for her to quench her thirst for adventure before embarking on her college journey.
