Smoky Skies while working on our Homestead | MODEL TRAIN TRACK!

Hey Everyone, another week here on the Homestead and just trying to knock things off the list one by one while trying to avoid the smoky skies. We are working on our zone 3 garden and placing landscape material and gravel between our raised beds to control the weeds. We also give an update on our garden and vegetable plants while transplanting outside. Spending time with the chickens has been quite therapeutic and was defiantly the right choice for our family.Show more

After all our hard work we took some time to enjoy life and check out the model trains and the Canadian Northern Railway in Camrose Alberta constructed in 1911. We Finished off the week with a firework display at the nearby city for their yearly celebrations.
