"The test of Love is never feeling or emotion but SACRIFICE and TRUTH!" Pentecost Sunday 5/28/23

This week, Fr. Stanislaus Of Guadalupe brings out the nuances in the Holy Scripture readings provided for us today by the Church. The recollection of what transpired that first Pentecost Sunday is something we are accustomed to hearing every year. However, if you allow feelings or emotions of worldly peace and love then you have missed the entirety of the message of His Paschal Mystery! The Peace He leaves to us is the Peace of the MARTYR not the peace of a content life or one lived with many worldly accomplishments. If you understand and accept His Word then chances are you will suffer as He did and the challenge is to do so in His PEACE and LOVE which the world cannot give!
