The Secret of Pentecost

From Genesis to Revelation, God provides us with a picture of His plan for salvation and redemption. One of the most prophetic pictures of this plan is provided for us in the Jewish feasts.
The Spring feasts pointed to the coming Messiah as our Passover Lamb. These promises from God were fulfilled at Jesus' first coming.
The Fall feasts mark the promises still to be fulfilled when Jesus comes again and raptures His Church and brings forth the coming Kingdom of God.
Pentecost marks that time in between ... the Church age. It is that period of time that the mantle of Jesus was given to His followers to share the gospel of salvation.
God's secret plan of salvation was revealed and birth at Pentecost following the death and resurrection of Jesus. The Church was born, the promise of the Holy Spirit residing with us was fulfilled, and the Holy Spirit provided the power and authority to His Church, and gifted it with the Five Fold Ministry on that particular Pentecost Sunday.
