Have you heard of the Russian zombie army that fought against the Germans during WWI?

It was known as the Battle of Osowiec Fortress but many call it by its more popular name, the Attack of the Dead Men.

That’s because these Russian soldiers fought back against the Germans while coughing up blood and practically melting from the poison gas they were attacked with.

They managed to put up such a ferocious effort that the Germans retreated and spread rumors of the undead army that drove them away.
