Why the war happened? Nepali civil war explained.

If you were born before 2000's like me, you have fond memory of the Nepali Civil War between the Maoist and the Monarchy. This is my attempt to understand what actually happened and why.

Such were the popularity and expectation of Nepali people after the revolutionary 62/63 Jana Aandolan, that they became the biggest party of Nepal on the merit of Civil War. Fast forward to 2020, Our perception towards the Maoist has changed and most youngster feel the Civil War as just a mistake.

Was it really a mistake and just the power struggle between the Maoist and government or have they changed later after becoming successful?

This is my attempt to find out what actually happened during that time and better understand the present.

This is the 1st Episode of the Nepal Civil War Explained, where we analyze the Origin and roots of the Maoist, the society and economic factor that made the civil war possible in the first place.
