Kyiv asked Berlin for missiles with a range of 500 km, Ukraine asked Germany to supply it with Taurus cruise missiles, media reported, citing a representative of the German Defense Ministry. It is noted that the range of these munitions can reach 500 km. Earlier, Kyiv has already received a number of Western long-range missile systems. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received MLRS HIMARS with GMLRS and GLSDB missiles. In addition, in May, the UK transferred Storm Shadow cruise missiles to Ukraine, which can strike at a distance of up to 250 km. Analysts have no doubt that if the next request of the Kyiv regime is granted, the ammunition will not hesitate to be used for strikes on Russian territory, despite assurances from Western politicians to the contrary.
