Turkish citizens cast their ballots in the first-ever presidential run-off election

Voters in Turkey are participating in the country's first-ever presidential run-off election today to decide the fate of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, facing off against main opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu. In the previous round of voting two weeks ago, neither candidate secured an absolute majority, despite high turnout with nearly 90 percent of eligible voters casting their ballots.
