Corn Fritters - Kue Jagung Goreng Recipe Video Tutorial

Ingredients:

Batter;
300g diced cabbage
250g grated carrots
250g sweet corn
2 sliced spring onions
1 chopped sprig parsley
350g all purpose flour
350ml ice water
500ml vegetable oil

Ground Spices;
3 candlenut
4 cloves garlic
1.5 tsp salt
1.5 tsp mushroom stock
quarter tsp white pepper
quarter tsp tumeric powder

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 50 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 20 minutes

Method:
1. Mix the cut vegetables in a large bowl.
2. Gently rub in the ground spices.
3. Then slowly mix in the flour in several stages.
4. Then gradually add the ice water until it's the correct consistency.
Adding more water makes the fritters softer.
5. Heat the oil in a large wok or frying pan.
6. Place spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil & cook for around 20 mins.
7. Turn them over occasionally until they're golden brown.

Storage:
Eat whilst still hot.

Serving Suggestions:
Serves around six people. Can be served with a dip for lunch, or as a side dish with a main meal.

Bahan-Bahan:
Adonan;
300g kubis iris tipis.
250 gr wortel parut
250 gram jagung manis
2 irisan daun bawang
1 tangkai daun seledri cincang
350 gram tepung terigu serbaguna
350 ml air es
500 ml minyak sayur
Bumbu Halus;
3 kemiri
4 siung bawang putih
1,5 sdt garam
1,5 sdt kaldu jamur
seperempat sdt lada putih
seperempat sdt bubuk kunyit

Waktu Persiapan: 30 menit
Waktu Memasak: 50 menit
Total Waktu: 1 jam 20 menit

Metode:
1. Campur potongan sayuran dalam mangkuk besar.
2. Aduk perlahan tambahkan bumbu halus.
3. Kemudian campurkan tepung secara perlahan dalam beberapa tahap.
4. Kemudian tambahkan air es sedikit demi sedikit sampai kekentalannya pas.
Menambahkan lebih banyak air membuat gorengan lebih lembut.
5. Panaskan minyak dalam wajan atau wajan besar.
6. Masukkan sesendok adonan ke dalam minyak panas dengan api sedang & masak selama sekitar 20 menit.
7. Balik sesekali sampai berwarna cokelat keemasan.

Penyimpanan:
Makan selagi masih hangat.

Saran Penyajian:
Porsi sekitar enam orang. Bisa disajikan dengan saus untuk makan siang, atau sebagai lauk dengan makanan utama.
