Killings by unknown gunmen in Imo state! The case of Garlio Amajuoyi!

Communities in Imo state, South East of Nigeria are now living in perpetual fear as unknown gunmen now raid them every now and then unchallenged and in each case, scores are either killed or maimed, and their businesses raided. The case of Mr. Garlio Amajuoyi, a 27-year-old Mr and father of two, who hailed from Amakohia-Ubi in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo state is the latest of such killings. According to reports, on a fateful day, Mr. Garlio was said to have gone to the farm in his mini-bus when the unknown gunmen accosted him, he quickly reversed and they ran after him, caught and shot him. Not satisfied, they set his bus on fire. The question now is how can communities live in fear when there is a governor who should secure their lives and property?
