If you have a dying tree for whatever reason, could be shocked from winter or lack of water or nutrients, use these tips to check and then revive.
1. scratch the trunk, if you see green that's the part of the trunk still alive, if you see brown that's the part that's dead.
2. cut off the dead part
3. use superthrive to spray on the trunk to encourage new growths
4. add some compost
5. be sure to keep soil moist
