Raising MEAT! Our first animals arrive today!

Hello friends, Today our first livestock is arriving that we well raise for meat here on the homestead. Chickens are coming soon but first... we have to get our old chicken coop ready to keep these little babies warm. Let's go!

On Our Forest Homestead, we are building an off grid homestead from scratch in Nipissing Ontario, growing zone 4b. We will be building a house, and garden, shop/barn, and getting more animals. All while learning and growing and having some fun, along the way. Our goal is to grow an entire Christmas dinner, and as many other meals as possible, on our little piece of paradise. Come along. This is our adventure!
