POLICE NEEDS TO REOPEN CASE

UNSOLVED DISAPPEARANCE

MICHEL CHARLES-ÉMILE TRUDEAU (AGE 23)
NOVEMBER 13, 1998
KOOTENAY GLACIER PROVINCIAL PARK
NELSON, BC

Nelson RCMP needs to reopen this case with no belongings or remains or body located.

This case remains unsolved.

Michel Charles-Émile Trudeau, 23 years-of-age went on a skiing trip with Andrew Bednarz, Eric Lemieux, Jeff Butcher, and Bradley Hamacher, on November 13, 1998 at Kootenay Glacier Provincial Park in Nelson, BC

Michel spent several minutes in the water, fighting to remove his heavy backpack and touring skis, all the while "shouting for help and groaning," eyewitness Eric Lemieux told reporters later.

Andrew Bednarz and Michel Trudeau were swept into the glacier-fed waters. Bednarz managed to get to shore. Trudeau struggled in the water but did not make it.

They yelled at Mike [Trudeau] “to swim, swim, swim’ but basically just watched him go under the water,″ Paul Sinclair, who was with the group a day earlier, told the National Post

'We could see him," said Lemieux, one of several skiers following Trudeau when the avalanche struck. "We knew it was going to be a slow and painful death. But we couldn't reach him. He was in the middle of the lake."

Scuba divers have failed to find Trudeau's body in the glacier-fed lake In Kootenay Glacier Provincial Park.

In an interesting coincidence, that may not be a coincidence at all, Michel Trudeau was allegedly nearly killed on July 17, 1998– five months before his actual death when his motor vehicle was broadsided by another vehicle while driving through Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada.

The alleged accident was so powerful that the truck Michel Trudeau was driving rolled over several times and was a complete write off– it was reported that it was a miracle he survived.

What was also held back is that at the same time Michel Trudeau got busted by police for having two joints of weed in his possession— not an insignificant crime in 1998.

TO THIS DAY "MICHEL TRUDEAU" is missing and presumed drowned. He has never been located nor any clothing or items he was wearing. His disappearance remains unsolved.

This case needs to be reopened and reinvestigated.

With no boy or clothing surfacing this case is unsolved.
