The FN America 14.7" 5.56 Button Cut Carbine Gas AR-15 M4 Barrel is a premium barrel that lives up to the battle tested reputation of FN America. The barrel is designed to be extremely durable and reliable with a high-strength 41V50 chrome moly vanadium construction and a black manganese phosphate finish. This barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington with a 1:7 twist rate and 1/2”x28 threaded barrel for optimal performance and functionality. It boasts a chrome lined chamber and bore to extend the barrel’s service life and ensure reliable chambering and extraction. The 5.56 M4 Barrel features a M4 feed ramp to promote consistent and reliable feeding. FN barrels are High Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) to ensure that it is free of micro-stresses, cracks and flaws to ensure the quality and consistency of each barrel.
