The economies of Asia in terms of nominal GDP from 1960 to 2050 are the subject of this video. The economy of Asia contains more than 4.5 billion individuals (60% of the total populace) living in 49 unique countries. Six additional states are located partly in Asia but are thought to be economically and politically part of a different region. Asia is the world's continent with the largest nominal GDP and PPP economy and the fastest-growing economic region. In addition, Asia has been the location of some of the longest modern economic booms in history, beginning with the Japanese economic miracle (1950–1990), South Korea's Miracle on the Han River (1961–1996), China's economic boom (1978–2013), and India's economic boom (1991–present).
