South Korea government launches investigation after plane door is opened mid-flight

South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport says that police and the ministry are investigating an individual over violation of aviation law in a statement released on Friday. One man has been arrested after allegedly opening the door on an Asiana Airlines flight as it was coming in to land at Daegu in South Korea on May 26

The ministry also adds that it has dispatched an aviation safety supervisor to the site to check whether there was an abnormality in aircraft maintenance, according to the statement.
