Former Dean of U of Brazil, Faculty of Dentistry explains the importance of ending mercury use in Dentistry. At the IAOMT inaugural Technical Assistance Programme held in Rio de Janeiro, in October, 2013, Dr. Amilicar Vianna addressed the audience, supporting the need to quickly and responsibly phase out the use of mercury amalgam to improve the safety to the patients, the dental worker and the environment.
