David Kennedy, DDS, MIAOMT: The True Facts of Fluoride

Presented at IAOMT's 2017 Spring Conference in Savannah, GA.

Dr. David C. Kennedy, a leader in the field of preventive dentistry, is a Past President of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. Dr. Kennedy will be addressing the issue of fluoridation of drinking water at the March meeting of the IAOMT in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Kennedy is the author of the book How To Save Your Teeth: Toxic Free Preventive Dentistry, published by Health Action Press in 1993. With his wife Betty he co-produced the 1999 documentary Crippling Waters, describing the problems of excess fluoride in drinking waters in China, a project hosted by the China Medical University and the People‘s Republic of China Department of Endemic Disease Control. Dr. Kennedy also produced the 2000 film, Smoking Teeth = Poison Gas, which features the 20 years of pivotal research funded by the IAOMT into the impact of mercury from dental amalgams. This film is available for free viewing at “http://www.iaomt.org.” Dr. Kennedy has lectured to dentists, physicians and other health professionals around the world on the subjects of preventive dental health, non-surgical approaches to periodontal disease, indirect composite inlays, mercury toxicity, and fluoride use and abuse.

Dr. Kennedy has more than thirty years of experience in general and preventive dentistry. He is a member of the San Diego Toxic Landfill committee, has been a visiting scholar in chemistry at the University of California, San Diego, and is currently the information officer for the IAOMT. Dr. Kennedy received his D.D.S. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1971 and his B.A. in biochemistry and physiology from the University of Kansas in 1967.
