‘Great victory’: Judge bars NYC from busing illegal aliens to Salina hotel

The number of southern border crossings is down from near record daily highs a few weeks ago, but some cities across the country are still struggling to take care of migrants already here. New York City is grappling with how to deal with thousands of migrants, with busloads more being sent by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. In Salina, a town in northern New York state, a judge granted a temporary restraining order to block a hotel from housing migrants. Town Supervisor Nick Paro says it’s “not what our hotels are for.”
