Esau had lived in Canaan, but then he decided to move. He took his family, everyone who lived with him, his animals and all his things and moved! Today let’s read Genesis 36:6 and talk about moving. When you move, what do you take? Your family comes along, you take your pets and all your stuff! Everything but the house and the land it’s on! That’s what Esau did!

Esau took his wives and sons and daughters and all the members of his household, as well as his livestock and all his other animals and all the goods he had acquired in Canaan, and moved to a land some distance from his brother Jacob.
