Targeting Kob in the surf! Fishing with live Mullet and Octopus for mulloway from the beach.
As most of you know, targeting kob must be my most favourite facet of angling! My brother came to visit and we had a beautiful weather build up for the kob, so obviously this would be our targeted species. with the south east wind blowing we headed to the beach to target kob or as they are known in Australia mulloway or jewfish. We got really lucky and hooked and landed some beautiful kob using live mullet and octopus as bait.
