KOB FISHING WITH MY SON! MY most special fishing day! Double up with my son! PERSONAL BEST MULLOWAY!

Kob/Mulloway fishing from the surf is my favourite type of fishing. I just love the challenge of hunting a specific specie, especially when that specie is a kob, from identifying the perfect sand bank to that destructive bite and head nods! I love it all!
This specific day I headed out to fish for kob, but the main objection was for me to get my 9 year old son Xandré on a decent kob and to break his personal best! Just like his father Xandré loves his kob fishing! Not only did we manage to find Xandré's personal best, but we managed to double up, father and son both on with stunning kob! I am sure most grown men in South Africa would love to catch a kob like this. South Africa has some the biggest kob in the world these fish can grow to over 70kg. Mulloway or jewfish as they are called in Australia, is just asbig of a prized catch or soI have heard!

Our day started of slow, we hooked the wrong species, but as we fished the hours away and the sun hit the horizon we finally had the succes that we where after!
