Old Man remembers Tina Turner, and reacts to "Overnight Sensation!" (1986)

This song was written for Tina by Mark Knopfler (of Dire Straights fame) for her 1986 Break Every Rule album. Mark also produced the song and played lead guitar on this album cut.

Tina, (real name Anna Mae Bullock), who died yesterday at age 83 provided the soundtrack for my and many other's lives for the last 40 years as a solo artist. I could have chosen any of dozens of great songs to honor her, but I think this is my all-time favorite!
