Over 1,000 servicemen gathered in Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday for the annual Flags-In ceremony in preparation for Memorial Day. Around 260,000 American flags were set along headstones and cremation niches and took about four hours to put in place. The VA says decorating the graves has been part of the Memorial Day commemoration since 1868.
