From @lawandlegitimacy:

It is just like old times. LAL is honored to host a titan of 21st century free speech advocacy, Mr. Ron Coleman. You may know Ron from his clever and cogent Twitter presence or from his work on behalf of The Slants in landmark litigation before the Supreme Court of the United States. You might also recognize Ron from previous Law and Legitimacy exploits, having contributed to some of LAL's most enriching conversations to date. It is also possible that you come to LAL as a fresh face, brought to us courtesy of Ron's own video podcast, ColemanNation. No matter how you've come to us, we're glad to have you.
.
For the uninitiated, Mike refers to the magic of Ron and Norm's intellectual chemistry as the Bird-McHale 1-2 from the peak-era Boston Celtics. With the Celtics moving into the Eastern Conference Finals on the back of a massive Game 7 victory, perhaps the timing here is fitting.
.
Today, Norm, Mike, and Ron volley:
› The contents of the Durham Report and whether Congress should increase oversight on FBI operations—Church Committee 2.0?
› North Carolina Reverend John K. Amanchukwu Sr. had a video of his public comment addressed to the Board of the Asheville School District go viral—how does the very persuasive critique of certain types of literature available in the public school library accommodate the obvious competing foundations of the first amendment's free marketplace of ideas?
