BFGC - May 21, 2023 Overcoming Darkness

Yeshua tells us in the Gospel of Matthew that true Spirit Filled believers will be a light in the dark world around them. When the Holy Spirit fills the life of the born again believer with the fruit of Yehovah, it will always attract those who are living in the wickedness of our dark world. We must be filled with the Holy Spirit, and just being religious or busy doing the good works of religion, will not provide anything in our life that will be attractive to the blind and hopeless. Some believers think that the attention of the Holy Spirit working in their lives is too much trouble, or will create problems in their relationships, so they try to hide their testimony under a bushel to avoid the persecution. The Bible instructs believers to be continually refilled daily with the Holy Spirit and to study God's Word as much as possible. To hide God's Wisdom in your heart, and to be quick to share your testimony of what Yehovah has done in your life and why you choose to live set apart for His Glory.
