The cabalistic rule of ‘Colel’ states that ONE DIGIT can be added to, or subtracted from, the gematria value of a word without affecting its value.

The "Parents of Numbers Rule" is based off the notion that the Number ONE and TWO are PARENTS of Numbers and not actual numbers themselves. Meaning 1 and 2 and be seen as ZERO in some cases, depending on the decoding method.
