Comments on Department of Corrections

The State of Louisiana has recently been highlighted for holding people in custody AFTER their prescribed release date. I have been trying to get the Department of Corrections to answer questions about this issue. I believe when someone has met the debt to society that they should be released. The "police power"of the state is significant and need to be transparent. Trying to find answers.
