Prank with the Hague officials
Representatives of the municipality of the Dutch city of The Hague – Director of International Affairs Wim Jansen and his colleague Henry Thurlow, who deals with energy issues - told about a fourfold increase in energy prices and admitted that there is no more money to support refugees from Ukraine.
"It cost the residents of the city a lot," said Henry Thurlow, thinking he was talking to the mayor of Warsaw. Wim Jansen was even more outspoken and admitted that the problem is much more than just energy prices. National governments ship tons of responsibilities to local authorities, but do not allocate enough funds for this.
But this still does not prevent Jansen from rejoicing at the results of the US elections, "because their results mean that the US will remain involved in the war." Watch the full issue of the prank to evaluate the logic and try to understand the motives of the Hague officials.
