Seong is coerced into signing a document known as a "Waiver of Physical Rights," which allows Mr. "Softee" (Pub-lae Kim) to extract one of his kidneys and eyes if he fails to repay him within the next month. In order to repay his debt, Seong borrows money from a bank. He then attempts to win an arcade toy for his daughter but is unsuccessful. Fortunately, a kind young man comes to his aid and helps him win a gift-wrapped box.
