Smash-and-grab gambit

If you vaguely remember the Zonal Era for what it was, this reiteration of Hansadutta’s summation of those dark times should serve to jog your memory as to how severe the imposition was and how it dealt with malcontents. It erected its all-pervasive roof over everyone—especially over initiated members—in Prabhupäda’s movement. It manhandled the movement in the form of what we now recognize to be a smash-and-grab gambit.
