Rep. Lauren Boebert asked a witness during a House Oversight Committee hearing on third-party prescription drug providers whether people sometimes do not pick up their prescriptions because they are too expensive. She then told a story about how she once went to pick up a birth control prescription when she was pregnant with her third son, but the prescription was so expensive that she decided it would be cheaper to have the child.
