THE EYES OF YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER ARE UPON YOU

As a young kid raised in a Pentecostal fellowship with the residue of the holiness movement, I always knew God was looking at me.
However, because of the stains that come from a religious mindset, I knew he was trying to find something to punish me for. I did not doubt that he was watching me, but I doubted His intention.
We sang a song in church as a Youth," standing somewhere in the shadows; you'll find Jesus." In my confused understanding of God's desires for me, I could visualize Jesus hiding in a closet, just waiting to pounce on me for a missing deed that I may do.
Well, if you've never been there, God bless you. You've missed a lot of agony and confusion about the heavenly father.
To clear the air, take a peek at Ephesians in the first chapter and see the character and desire of your loving heavenly father. He looks at you through his eyes, not yours, and what He sees in you is what he has declared you to be through Jesus Christ.
That means you have been redeemed and made holy despite your background and failures. The father sees you as complete in him.
These statements confuse our religious minds because we have been programmed to work toward perceived holiness and righteousness.
The particular denomination or Christian church has shaped the perception of holiness you may have been raised in.
I find it particularly refreshing to see this young generation come to Christ without the trappings of religion. They can grasp God's loving goodness so quickly that they are promoted spiritually into leadership and ministry, which is amazing.
Today, Decide to see yourself as God sees you, sanctified, made holy, and worthy to sit with him in heavenly places of authority and rulership.
