Rep. Jayapal: Speaker McCarthy is the only one to blame if US defaults

At a Progressive Caucus press conference in Washington on Wednesday, Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) said Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is the “one person to blame” if the economy crashes and the government defaults.
