Rep. Jayapal: GOP rejected $3 trillion in policies that could reduce the deficit

At a Progressive Caucus press conference in Washington on Wednesday, Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) said Republicans have rejected $3 trillion worth of policies that could have gone towards reducing the deficit and are “not negotiating at all” with Democrats. “What are they proposing instead? They want you to foot these bills for these tax cuts,” said Rep. Jayapal.
