You're not hungry, you're fiending! Here's how to handle that.

You may think you are hungry, but what you are really experiencing is the nasty side effect of insulin resistance. Being insulin resistant is going to make it harder for your body to feel full after eating, and it's going to catapult you into fat storage mode. That's a nasty combo if you are trying to lose weight!

We can become more sensitive to insulin by reducing the amount of processed carbs we consume. By getting those carbs under control we can eat food and feel full after eating. Not all carbs are bad either! Look for natural sources that are loaded with fiber. Carbs are necessary for athletes and people looking to be more active. But the wrong kinds of carbs can throw a wrench in your whole program.

So we avoid foods high in the glycemic index and we STAY AWAY from processed wheat and sugars!
