Christian History – Part 9 – Foundations, what is Language?

What is language? “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God”. John 1:1 Why is the assumption made that there was nothing before the heaven and the earth were created? So, what do we understand from these two statements written here by Moses, and then John? They are the expression of purpose from the Creator to the created. The nature and construct of language is the knowledge of truth, meaning and purpose. Within language is also the ability of speech, the formation of words to carry this expression from one mind to another.
