New World" - Part 1. A fine radio adapta-
tion of the novel by Aldous Huxley. Narrated
by Huxley, the cast features Joseph Kearns,
William Conrad, Bill Idleson, Vic Perrin. Ninety-
six identical "beings" have been cloned from
one human egg, all pre-conditioned for their
role in a new society where people are
"produced" assembly line-style in the image
of hero Henry Ford. This is the first broad-

tion of the new world, we see "Improved"

is the tale of a mechanical "brain" come alive
with a crush on her inventor! Written and
directed by Willis Cooper who created radio's

starring William Mason. Major Thomas Manning
goes into space to try to determine what
happened to two astronauts lost before him.
