A Sawtooth Serenade 9x12 original acrylic by Simon Tate

Vibrant shades of warmth, coolness and mist, aglow in this Sawtooth Mountain Wilderness scene. I begin with watercolor technique lay in of areas which set the scene for the completion of the painting. It is a matter of building up layers as I go along. Finally, often some glazes for subduing or highlighting as I finish the work. The painting is fast and easy. The video, however, is 5 times the challenge. I'm improving I think with each video, the setup and the editing. Hopefully, I will get better each try. Enjoy!
