Mission Details:

We are advised by Zhao Yun to make for the rebels' base at Guangzong. However, avoiding a head-on encounter with the rebels requires Hong Jing and I to take a long, treacherous route northwards along the Taihang Mountains.

Guigugou Valley has a beautiful breeze but, it seems that there are already uninvited guests in the valley, and there is no time to enjoy the views along the way.

A mystical valley in the heart of the Taihong Mountains.

Around the time of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, it is said to have been the home of the sage Guiguzi.
Together with his disciples Su Qin and Zhang Yi, the sage is believed to have built paths and rope bridges across the deep and perilous valley, leading to a secluded cave where he studied rhetoric alongside a spring from which wisdom itself would spout.
In the several hundred years that have since passed, the now-desolate valley has been profaned by the occult rituals of Taiping Taoism and has become home to bandits and religious fanatics.
