Uncovering the Love Lost in a Lovecraftian Spring: An Unforgettable Horror/Romance Movie

Guillermo Del Toro described this movie as the best horror movie of the decade!

I personally would rate this movie at 7.5/10.

The story revolves around a young man, Evan, who is in a personal tailspin after the death of his parents and an encounter with a local gangster which causes him to flee from the US to Italy, where he sparks up a romance with a woman harbouring a dark, primordial secret.

This movie is described as Lovecraftian in feel and nature and is a unique horror/love story which you don’t see very often if at all.

This movie scored 5 award wins and 15 nominations at various international film festivals and those are well deserved.

This movie was written by Justin Benson.

This episode was directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.

This movie stars Lou Taylor Pucci, Nadia Hilker and Francesco Carnelutti amongst others.

In addition, as per the Judgement on the 26 April 2022 in the CJEU Case C-401/19, Republic of Poland v European Parliament and Council of the EU: it was noted in that judgement that the interpretation of Article 17(7), second paragraph, requires that member states permit users of online sharing services are authorised to upload and make available content generated by themselves for the specific purposes of quotation, criticism, review, caricature, parody or pastiche.
