Never heard of no mow May? Well it's probably better that way. Today I share my opinions on the movement #nomowmay. I give a little bit of light on the subject of pollination and how no mow May will save the bees. Do I like bees? Of course I do! Will 31 days in May change the pollinator problem? No, lets take the light off no mow May and put the spotlight back on the real problem! I don't mention it in this video, but lets face it, if your living in the city and are digging up your dandelions out of you perfect lawn, you've probably used Round Up in your day, at least once...the problem isn't mowing the lawns in the spring, its the lack of biodiversity of plant life and growing gardens. What to help the bees? Plant a garden. Forget about no mow may.
