THE GENERATIONAL ANOINTING THAT NEVER DIES

Here are too familiar quotations that we often use in our discussion of God and his people. "the steps of a good man/ Woman are ordered of the lord."
"the gifts and callings of the Lord, or without repentance." Meaning that he will never take them back once he gives them out.
We, as believers, have tremendous confidence in knowing that the word of God is eternal and will never fail.
Today we are being challenged as a church and a body of believers if God means what he says concerning these promises. Is it true that the word never fails? Can we have confidence in God that the gifts and callings that he has given are not taken back?
Consider with me today the power of the generational call and the anointing God gave to our fathers that has affected multiple generations.
First, consider the covenants that God made with our nation's founding fathers, both the pilgrims and those who established us as a republic.
These godly men and women, who put their life on the line, were promised by the Lord himself that this nation would accomplish its purpose and be light on the hill.
Secondly, consider those same promises to your generational lines and your forefathers, both natural and spiritual. Remember, the seeds planted in your generation are also seeds with God's life in it. The commands and promises of God are living organisms, living beings, and they never go away.
Somewhere in your background, you had people that made a covenant with God, and we're praying, faithful servants to whom God gave a promise.
You are the result of that promise.
You may not be able to go far enough into your generational line to find out who that was, but according to God's principles, that's how it works.
Somebody prayed for you. Somebody planted the seeds in the ground so that your sprout would come up in the future.
Remember the statement in the Old Testament of the patriarch Abraham who paid tithe to Melchizedek, and Levi, who was not yet born, also paid tithes.
And remember this; you are the seed for this next generation ahead of you.
Be faithful to your calling.
