Question: Why is Tauchain an important innovation for decentralized network?
Answer: You really need the logical part that Tau brings. You need to distinguish between truth and false automatically. That’s a very important point. Not all programming languages, not all logics let you completely automatically infer consequences from given knowledge base. Far to mention, they don’t let you do it securely in a trustless environment. For that, we need cryptographic primitives. Some of them are very common like hashing or signatures. The most innovative part which is Satoshi’s innovation is of course, the blockchain that let you have a public shared database that everyone writes and no one can cheat.
